Who am I to be responsible for writing your song?

In my 12 years as a singer-songwriter I’ve spent over 100,000 pounds on recording and releasing my 5 albums and dozens of live videos and music videos. I’ve performed thousands of concerts and written hundreds of songs.

I have spent tens of thousands of hours learning my craft.

If you are reading this, likely you already know. The proof is in the pudding as they say.

I believe in songs.

I left a secure paying job and invested heavily in that belief.

The joiners on my building site told me I would be back in a few months. The people I grew up with told me it was stupid to give up a solid job to chase my dreams.

I started with no rich parents. No inheritance. No university degree.

I walked off that building site age 20 and I’ve never looked back. I’ve never been afraid it wouldn’t work for me. You may ask why….

Have you ever noticed when things get really crazy in life, music and art become what matters? Someone passes on or we face some new and uncertain challenge where do we turn? Every is dealing with so much.

When the world feels strange it’s a song that brings us home.

Ive always known this. I’ve always known there will be a place for songs so long as the songs mean something.

I write from the heart. I’ve never released a song I don’t believe in and I never will. I have produced a world class body of songwriting work which speaks for itself and its out there for anyone to listen to.

I’ve put myself out there.

I receive messages all the time from people telling me my music has helped them through a hard time or provided a soundtrack to meaningful times.
