Adam Holmes and the Embers at Celtic Connections 2015
Adam and the band are delighted to announce that they will be appearing at The Tron Theatre, Glasgow on Saturday the 24th of January as part of Celtic Connections 2015 along with the superb US/Canadian band The Barr Brothers. Tickets are now available for purchase from the festival website here

BBC Radio 3 – Live Session
Adam and the band’s live session for BBC Radio 3’s “World on 3” programme hosted by Mary Ann Kennedy was recorded last Friday and includes five tracks with one new unreleased song, Well Paid Man. You can listen to the programme here.

Radio Scotland Outside Broadcast
Adam Holmes and the Embers were included in a recent live session on Iain Anderson’s BBC Radio Scotland show (30 July), a special outdoor broadcast from Pacific Quay, as part of Glasgow’s Commonwealth Games cultural programme. An impressive lineup also included Rab Noakes, James Grant, Siobhan Miller Band, Emily Smith and Allan Taylor. The concert was filmed and live-streamed on the BBC website. Heirs and Graces Long-listed for Scottish Album of the Year Award
Adam Holmes and The Embers at the 50th Cambridge Folk Festival
Adam and the band are honoured to have been asked to play one of the prestigious showcase slots at this years Cambridge Folk Festival, which this year is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. Each year the festival selects just 5 showcase artists which it thinks will go on to great things in the future and previous artists to have graced this stage are Cara Dillon, Karine Polwart, Seth Lakeman, the Staves and 2014 BBC Folk Singer of the Year Bella Hardy.
