Hello my friends!
Would you like something to look forward to this dark and cruel January?
Would you like to be one of the 100 that will be witness to the birth of my 4th solo record, Dreamweaver, ahead of it’s release in May this year?
With news of the latest lockdown, I shut myself away with some beautiful microphones and cameras and I’ve created an hour long film which contains solo acoustic performances of all of the songs from my new and unreleased solo record Dreamweaver, plus the stories behind each of the 11 songs on the album.
The film will air on the 28th of January @ 8pm and will be available for re-watch a week after the event for those of you otherwise disposed.
Dreamweaver was co-written with the legendary Boo Hewerdine and contains what I believe to be some of the best work I’ve done in my 10 years as a singer-songwriter. Very excited to share it with you.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
“Written in lockdown 1.0 with my dear friend Boo Hewerdine is the most personal and honest of my work to date.
With the external world’s disappearance, I found myself called to my past for inspiration. Dreamweaver is a softly spoken collections of musings on childhood. A meditation on parenthood viewed from both perspectives.
It’s my absolute honour to be a songwriter. It’s an absolute honour for my music to be received so warmly by so many. Its an honour to tap into my humanity in order to help others tap into theirs.
I appreciate all of you that value the art I create highly enough to support me bringing it to you. This is something I never take for granted. This album wouldn’t have been possible without the support of each and every one of you and I am heartened by its journey.
